The Support Of Faith: 79 ►Progression of Remembrance

Published: 23.03.2020

A graduate student approached me, with a problem. Problem was related with remembrance. He said—“What I learn, I cannot memorize it." I said, “You sit with me and memorize.” He began to memorize sitting there. What he was to memorize, he repeated it and became speechless. I gave him some time and advised him to repeat twenty one times. The student complied with the order. What seemed to be impossible for him became possible. He memorized the whole lesson.

How memory becomes sharp? It relates to assumption. When assumption is perfectly sound, memory becomes sharp. Assumption can be sound by ‘Abay’- ‘Abay’ is decisive. In course of arriving at decision, will-power (इच्छा) to becomes supportive. Will-power (इच्छा) is generated by absorption of conceptive thought. Person, whose memory is weak should take care of the fact that memory is related with conceptual absorption. The person, subject or matter which is to be memorized, the conceptual absorption of the same should be carefully looked into and it should be brought to the stage of assumption. Then his remembrance will not lag behind.

Man’s mind is an imperishable treasure of memory. In his memory-cells multifarious things are present. His intellectual ability has invented machines, like computer. Due to computer, he is feeling convenience in the facets of both time and labour. But it will have an adverse consequence. It will cause lethargic state to our memory. After relying fully on computer, he will perhaps feed the name of his family-members on it.

Attraction towards computer-course is increasing in modern younger-generation, while the danger of disruption of memorable elements is also enhancing. Scientists opine that virus is spoiling computers. This situation alarms men to preserve his memory carefully. I fully trust that firm conviction, dedication and bold manly quality—pyramid of these three angles may safeguard the power of remembrance of man.
