15th August comes and goes every year reminding one of our independence.
We know the value of that which is remembered on one day and forgotten the rest of the year.
Credibility, morality and honesty determine the form of independence.
To forget them is to forget independence.
Today is a day of introspection for everybody.

Is independence a permanent feature or an occasional occurrence?
If it is an occasional occurrence then its value is far greater than just an evening of celebration.
If it is permanent, then 15th August is not a day of celebration but of stock taking of the whole year's failures and achievements.
Every person should feel that every act of his upholds our independence.
