There are certain praise worthy attributes for a monk:
Good outfit: The first principle is that a monk does not keep any other outfit but his body.
Since this may not be possible for every monk,
there is a second principle which is to keep only as much as required to survive.
The third principle is to keep very less and not to be attached even to that.
