Man's nature is indeed strange.
He does not have as much a desire to understand himself from within as he has to understand another person.
What is the reason for this?
May be goodwill towards others becomes the motivation for such behaviour:
to understand the other person's problems and solve them.
If such is the case it is very good.
But if curiosity is the motivating factor, then its utility will definitely have to be searched for.
